December 9, 2023: Charlo, MT 59824 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Charlo Vikings (Charlo, MT) and the visiting Powell County Wardens (Deer Lodge, MT), saw Charlo's basketball squad overcome Powell County by a tally of 62-54.
With the victory, Charlo improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Two Eagle River (Pablo, MT) to confront the Eagles in a C District 14 challenge on Friday, December 22. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-1.
Next up, the Wardens confront the St. Ignatius Bulldogs (St. Ignatius, MT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Powell County will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
