December 9, 2023: Kaufman, TX 75142 The Kaufman Lions (Kaufman, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX), 59-45 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Mabank (Mabank, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Mabank went down by Howe (Howe, TX), 55-43, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to East View for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. China Spring will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 53-41 non-league win over Killeen (Killeen, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 10-4.
