Illinois High School Basketball - Morton Grove Academy trounces Cruz

December 9, 2023: Morton Grove, IL 60053

The Morton Grove Academy Crescents (Morton Grove, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Cruz Dragons (Chicago, IL), 65-32 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Crescents (6-3) will now prepare for their test against College Prep of America (Lombard, IL). The Thunder go into the Metro Prep test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, College Prep of America walloped Islamic Foundation (Villa Park, IL), 78-44, in a league test.

The Dragons now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Christian Heritage Academy for a Lakeshore test on Monday, December 11. Cruz will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 70-40 league win over Wolcott College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Lions record now stands at 3-2.
