December 9, 2023: Wauneta, NE 69045 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Decatur Community Red Devils (Oberlin, KS) and the host Wauneta-Palisade Broncos (Wauneta, NE), saw Decatur Community's basketball squad overcome Wauneta-Palisade by a tally of 46-29.
With the victory, Decatur Community improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to Trego (WaKeeney, KS) to confront the Golden Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Trego lost 40-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Victoria (Victoria, KS)
Next up, the Broncos confront the South Platte Blue Knights (Big Springs, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Wauneta-Palisade will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Blue Knights come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 65-53 non-league loss to Leyton (Dalton, NE).
