Alabama High School Basketball - Douglas tops Fyffe
December 9, 2023: Douglas, AL 35964 Douglas Eagles (Douglas, AL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Fyffe Red Devils (Fyffe, AL), 71-63 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Douglas upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Kate Duncan Smith DAR (Grant, AL) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Kate Duncan Smith DAR won 85-55 in their recent non-league bout against Collinsville (Collinsville, AL)
Next up, the Red Devils play the Collinsville Panthers (Collinsville, AL) in a 2A Area 12 bout, on Monday, December 11. Fyffe will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 85-55 non-league loss to Kate Duncan Smith DAR (Grant, AL).
