Illinois High School Basketball - East Peoria knocked off by Lincoln
December 9, 2023: Lincoln, IL 62656 The Lincoln Railsplitters basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting East Peoria Raiders to 29 in the Railsplitters non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Railsplitters now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mahomet-Seymour for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Lincoln will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 66-18 league win over Taylorville (Taylorville, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.
Next up, the Raiders play the Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL) in a Mid-Illini bout, on Tuesday, December 12. East Peoria will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 57-55 league win over Limestone (Bartonville, IL).
