The Ellison Eagles basketball team (Killeen, TX), was nudged 62-60 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Glenn Grizzlies (Leander, TX)

The Grizzlies now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hays for a 5A Region IV District 25 battle on Tuesday, December 19.

The Eagles (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Midway (Waco, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Midway was nudged by Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX), 52-42, in a non-league battle.
