Halstead Dragons (Halstead, KS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Eureka Tornadoes (Eureka, KS), 71-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Halstead upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Dragons travel to Remington (Whitewater, KS) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Remington lost 52-41 in their recent non-league bout against Classical (Wichita, KS)

Next up, the Tornadoes play the Flinthills Mustangs (Rosalia, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Eureka will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
