California High School Basketball - Foothill fells Oakwood
December 9, 2023: Morgan Hill, CA 95037 Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Oakwood Hawks (Morgan Hill, CA), 77-65 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Foothill upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to Fairfield (Fairfield, CA) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Fairfield won 54-49 in their recent non-league bout against Encinal (Alameda, CA)
Next up, the Hawks play the Summit Shasta Black Bears (Daly City, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Oakwood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Black Bears go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 78-17 non-league win over University Prep Academy (San Jose, CA).
