Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Governor Mifflin tops Manheim Township
December 9, 2023: Lancaster, PA 17606 Governor Mifflin Mustangs (Shillington, PA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Manheim Township Blue Streaks (Lancaster, PA), 54-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Governor Mifflin upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Muhlenberg (Laureldale, PA) to play the Muhls in a Berks County 1 bout on Thursday, December 14. The Muhls come into the bout with a record of 2-2.
Next up, the Blue Streaks play the Exeter Township Eagles (Reading, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Manheim Township will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 73-61 non-league loss to Perkiomen Valley (Collegeville, PA).
