Illinois High School Basketball - New Trier crushes Hampshire
December 9, 2023: Winnetka, IL 60093 New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL), 54-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, New Trier upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Trevians travel to Zion-Benton (Zion, IL) to clash with the Zee-Bees in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Zee-Bees go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Zion-Benton lost 76-49 in their recent league bout against Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL)
Next up, the Whip-Purs clash with the Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL) in a Fox Valley bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Hampshire will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 57-52 league loss to Cary-Grove (Cary, IL).
