Honey Grove Warriors (Honey Grove, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pilot Point Bearcats (Pilot Point, TX), 60-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Honey Grove upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-1. North Hopkins won 53-42 in their recent non-league bout against Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX)

Next up, the Bearcats play the Bells Panthers (Bells, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Pilot Point will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 51-31 non-league win over Ford (Quinlan, TX).
