North Carolina High School Basketball - Hunt fells Martin County

December 9, 2023: Wilson, NC 27893

Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Martin County Knights (Williamston, NC), 61-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hunt upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Bertie (Windsor, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Bertie won 63-53 in their recent non-league bout against J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Martin County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Seahawks go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 74-20 non-league loss to Croatan (Newport, NC).
