December 9, 2023: Delavan, WI 53115 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Kansas School for the Deaf Jackrabbits (Olathe, KS) and the host Wisconsin School for the Deaf Firebirds (Delavan, WI), saw Kansas School for the Deaf's basketball squad wallop Wisconsin School for the Deaf by a tally of 36-14.
With the victory, Kansas School for the Deaf improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Jackrabbits travel to Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf (Faribault, MN) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf lost 58-38 in their recent non-league challenge against International School of Minnesota (Eden Prairie, MN)
Next up, the Firebirds play the Iowa School for the Deaf Bobcats (Council Bluffs, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Wisconsin School for the Deaf will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 45-8 non-league loss to Kansas School for the Deaf (Olathe, KS).
