Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Malvern Prep nudges Parkland
December 9, 2023: Allentown, PA 18104 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Malvern Prep Friars (Malvern, PA) basketball squad edged the host Parkland Trojans (Allentown, PA), by a margin of 67-64.
The Friars (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic (Drexel Hill, PA). The Friars/Pandas go into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic held off Reading (Reading, PA), 61-47, in a non-league outing.
The Trojans now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Whitehall for a Lehigh Valley outing on Tuesday, December 12. Parkland will clash with a Zephyrs squad coming off a 68-31 non-league win over Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA). The Zephyrs record now stands at 3-1.
