Vermont High School Basketball - Otter Valley overwhelms Mt. St. Joseph Academy
December 9, 2023: Rutland, VT 05701 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Otter Valley Otters (Brandon, VT) and the host Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave (Rutland, VT), saw Otter Valley's basketball squad wallop Mt. St. Joseph Academy by a tally of 65-26.
With the victory, Otter Valley improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Otters travel to Mill River (North Clarendon, VT) to confront the Minutemen in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 11. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Mill River lost 56-39 in their recent non-league challenge against West Rutland (West Rutland, VT)
Next up, the Green Wave confront the Bellows Falls Terriers (Bellows Falls, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Mt. St. Joseph Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Terriers come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 61-43 league win over Leland & Gray (Townshend, VT).
