New Mexico High School Basketball - Silver tops New Mexico Military Institute

December 9, 2023: Silver City, NM 88061

Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting New Mexico Military Institute Colts (Roswell, NM), 51-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Silver upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Fighting Colts travel to Gadsden (Anthony, NM) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Colts play the Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. New Mexico Military Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
