South Carolina High School Basketball - Pinewood Prep holds off Wilson Hall

December 9, 2023: Sumter, SC 29150

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pinewood Prep Panthers (Summerville, SC) and the host Wilson Hall Barons (Sumter, SC), saw Pinewood Prep's basketball squad hold off Wilson Hall by a tally of 48-42.

With the victory, Pinewood Prep improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC) to confront the Swampcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 11. The Swampcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-1.

Next up, the Barons confront the Florence Christian Eagles (Florence, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Wilson Hall will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 54-47 non-league loss to Hilton Head Christian Academy (Hilton Head Island, SC).
