In Saturday's non-league outing, the Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX) basketball squad beat the host Sam Houston Hurricanes (San Antonio, TX), by a count of 77-58.

The Dragons (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Seguin (Seguin, TX). The Matadors go into the non-league outing with a 9-4 record. In their last outing, Seguin was topped by Judson (Converse, TX), 65-33, in a non-league outing.
