In Saturday's non-league outing, the Sandy Creek Cougars (Fairfield, NE) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Shelby-Rising City Huskies (Shelby, NE), by a margin of 65-40.

The Cougars (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Holdrege (Holdrege, NE). The Dusters go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Holdrege was trounced by Ogallala (Ogallala, NE), 73-46, in a non-league outing.

The Huskies now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Schuyler for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 12. Shelby-Rising City will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 64-46 non-league loss to Lincoln Northwest (Lincoln, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 0-4.
