Fremd Vikings (Palatine, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL), 46-26 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fremd upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host Lakes (Lake Villa, IL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Saxons play the Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Schaumburg will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
