Florida High School Basketball - Wekiva nips Lake Mary
December 9, 2023: Apopka, FL 32703 Wekiva Mustangs (Apopka, FL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lake Mary Rams (Lake Mary, FL), 69-67 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Wekiva upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Rockledge (Rockledge, FL) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Rams play the Cypress Creek Bears (Orlando, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Lake Mary will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
