West Virginia High School Basketball - Cabell Midland crushes Woodrow Wilson
December 9, 2023: Ona, WV 25545 Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV), 60-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cabell Midland upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Knights host Riverside (Belle, WV) to play the Warriors in a Mountain State bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Riverside lost 56-47 in their recent non-league bout against Preston (Kingwood, WV)
Next up, the Flying Eagles play the Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Woodrow Wilson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
