Oklahoma High School Basketball - Okay fells Checotah
December 9, 2023: Checotah, OK 74426 Okay Mustangs (Okay, OK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Checotah Wildcats (Checotah, OK), 47-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Okay upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Webbers Falls (Webbers Falls, OK) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Webbers Falls lost 48-29 in their recent non-league bout against Wilson-Henryetta (Henryetta, OK)
Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Sallisaw Black Diamonds (Sallisaw, OK) in a NOAA bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Checotah will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Black Diamonds go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 41-37 non-league loss to McLoud (McLoud, OK).
