In Saturday's non-league outing, the Marquette Catholic Blazers (Michigan City, IN) basketball squad beat the visiting East Chicago Central Cardinals (East Chicago, IN), by a margin of 41-29.

The Blazers (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against Victory Christian Academy (Valparaiso, IN). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Victory Christian Academy was beaten by Calumet Christian (Griffith, IN), 37-20, in a league outing.
