Virginia High School Basketball - Indian River winner over Fairview
December 9, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23325 The Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA) basketball felled the visiting Fairview Tigers (Fairview, PA), 41-22 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Braves (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Landstown was beaten by Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA), 68-39, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Georgetown Day for a non-league test on Sunday, December 10. Fairview will encounter a Mighty Hoppers squad coming off a 60-9 non-league win over Grace Brethren Christian (Clinton, MD). The Mighty Hoppers record now stands at 3-1.
