The Midwest Oilers basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting HEM Miners to 29 in the Oilers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Oilers now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rock River for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Midwest will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 59-40 non-league loss to Burlington (Burlington, WY). The Longhorns record now stands at 2-1.
