Texas High School Basketball - Jefferson topped by Woden
December 9, 2023: Woden, TX 75978 The Woden Eagles basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the visiting Jefferson Bulldogs to 34 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Groveton for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29.
The Bulldogs (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Tatum (Tatum, TX). The Eagles come into the 3A Region II District 16 contest with a 12-0 record. In their last contest, Tatum prevailed over Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX), 54-48, in a non-league contest.
