Oklahoma High School Basketball - Marshall nips Star-Spencer
December 9, 2023: Oklahoma City, OK 73120 Marshall Bears (Oklahoma City, OK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Star-Spencer Bobcats (Spencer, OK), 44-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Marshall upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Bears host Midwest City (Midwest City, OK) to play the Bombers in a 5A District 2 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Bombers go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Midwest City won 55-50 in their recent non-league bout against Norman North (Norman, OK)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Hugo Buffaloes (Hugo, OK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Star-Spencer will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 52-40 non-league loss to Tushka (Atoka, OK).
