California High School Basketball - Redwood nips Miramonte

December 9, 2023: Larkspur, CA 94939

Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA), 40-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Redwood upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Giants travel to Montgomery (Santa Rosa, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Montgomery lost 65-27 in their recent non-league bout against Carondelet (Concord, CA)

Next up, the Matadors play the Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA) in a Diablo bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Miramonte will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 42-12 non-league win over Livermore (Livermore, CA).
