The Palatine Pirates basketball team (Palatine, IL), was overwhelmed 62-35 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL)

The Fighting Saints now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Aurora for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 13. St. Charles East will confront a Blackhawks team coming off a 49-38 league win over Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL). The Blackhawks record now stands at 2-6.

The Pirates (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 6-5 record.
