December 9, 2023: Wells, ME 04090 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Traip Rangers (Kittery, ME), by a margin of 70-20.
The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Biddeford (Biddeford, ME). The Tigers go into the B South outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Biddeford was trounced by Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME), 61-35, in a non-league outing.
The Rangers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Waynflete for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 12. Traip will clash with a Flyers squad coming off a 33-24 non-league win over Poland (Poland, ME). The Flyers record now stands at 1-0.
