Georgia High School Basketball - Brantley County can't hold off Clinch County
December 9, 2023: Nahunta, GA 31553 The Clinch County Panthers basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Brantley County Herons to 46 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ware County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Clinch County will battle a Gators team coming off a 57-28 non-league loss to Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, GA). The Gators record now stands at 3-1.
The Herons (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Toombs County (Lyons, GA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Toombs County was nudged by Vidalia (Vidalia, GA), 72-22, in a non-league contest.
