Washington High School Basketball - Roosevelt can't hold off Skyline
December 9, 2023: Seattle, WA 98115 The Skyline Spartans basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Roosevelt Roughriders to 45 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newport - Bellevue for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Skyline will battle a Knights team coming off a 63-42 non-league win over Eastlake (Sammamish, WA). The Knights record now stands at 3-0.
The Roughriders (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ballard (Seattle, WA). The Beavers come into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Ballard edged Chief Sealth (Seattle, WA), 60-46, in a non-league contest.
