December 9, 2024: Antigo, WI 54409 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Antigo Red Robins (Antigo, WI) and the visiting Athens Bluejays (Athens, WI), observed Antigo's basketball team overwhelm Athens by a score of 71-38.
The Red Robins (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakeland (Minocqua, WI). The Thunderbirds come into the Great Northern challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Lakeland trounced Three Lakes (Three Lakes, WI), 53-47, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bluejays encounter the Stratford Tigers (Stratford, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Athens will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 68-66 non-league win over Prentice (Prentice, WI).
