Illinois High School Basketball - Calhoun overwhelms Lovejoy
December 9, 2024: Lovejoy, IL 62059 The Calhoun Warriors basketball team scored 75 points and limited the host Lovejoy Wildcats to 18 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.
The Warriors now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host North Greene for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 11. Calhoun will confront a Spartans team coming off a 46-45 non-league win over Carrollton (Carrollton, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Lovejoy falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Edwards County (Albion, IL) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14.
