Lake Mary Prep Griffins (Lake Mary, FL) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting International Community Comets (Winter Park, FL), 53-52 in a league match.

With the victory, Lake Mary Prep advances its record to 4-2 on the year. The Griffins host Holy Cross Lutheran Academy (Sanford, FL) to encounter the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 13. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Holy Cross Lutheran Academy lost 55-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Trinity Prep (Winter Park, FL)

In their next game, the Comets encounter the Lyman Greyhounds (Longwood, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. International Community will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
