Illinois High School Basketball - New Trier overwhelms Zion-Benton
December 9, 2024: Winnetka, IL 60093 The New Trier Trevians basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Zion-Benton Zee-Bees to 26 in the Trevians non-league triumph on Monday.
The Trevians now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Maine South for a Central Suburban - South game on Friday, December 13. New Trier will confront a Hawks team coming off a 65-52 non-league win over Maine East (Park Ridge, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Zion-Benton falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Zee-bees travel to Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL) to confront the Scouts in a North Suburban game on Saturday, December 14. The Scouts go into the game with a record of 5-2. Lake Forest lost 63-49 in their recent league game against Warren Township (Gurnee, IL)
