Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Steel Valley holds off Waynesburg Central
December 9, 2024: Waynesburg, PA 15370 The Steel Valley Ironmen basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Waynesburg Central Raiders to 60 in the Ironmen non-league triumph on Monday.
The Ironmen now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Brashear for a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. Steel Valley will confront a Bulls team coming off a 64-38 non-league loss to Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA). The Bulls record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Waynesburg Central falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10.
