Kentucky High School Basketball - Thomas Nelson holds off Holy Cross
December 9, 2024: Bardstown, KY 40004 The Thomas Nelson Generals basketball team scored 37 points and limited the visiting Holy Cross Cougars to 35 in the Generals non-league triumph on Monday.
The Generals now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bethlehem for a District 19 game on Friday, December 13. Thomas Nelson will confront a Eagles/Banshees team coming off a 78-22 league win over Washington County (Springfield, KY). The Eagles/Banshees record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Holy Cross falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Ballard (Louisville, KY) to confront the Bruins in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 11.
