The Santa Fe Christian Eagles (Solana Beach, CA) basketball edged the visiting Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), 50-46 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to High Tech SD for a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 11. Santa Fe Christian will play a Storm team coming off a 41-38 non-league loss to Valley Center (Valley Center, CA). The Storm record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Steele Canyon falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Cougars host University City (San Diego, CA) to play the Centurions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 10.
