The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC) and the visiting Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC), observed Halifax Academy's basketball team knock off Ridgecroft by a score of 42-29.

The Vikings (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rocky Mount Academy (Rocky Mount, NC). The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Rocky Mount Academy prevailed over Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC), 42-39, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams encounter the Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC) in a challenge, on Friday, December 13. Ridgecroft will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
