In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Ray Texans basketball team scored a close 68-61 triumph over the Alexander Bulldogs.

The Texans (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Vela (Edinburg, TX). The Sabercats enter the non-league outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Vela was nipped by United (Laredo, TX), 72-59, in a non-league outing.
