Bulloch Academy Gators (Statesboro, GA) backers were thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team topple the visiting John Milledge Academy Trojans (Milledgeville, GA), 49-38 in a non-league game.

The Gators now have a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Statesboro for a non-league game on Monday, December 29.

With the loss, John Milledge Academy falls to 2-3 on the year. The Trojans host Brentwood (Sandersville, GA) to clash with the War Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, December 12. The War Eagles enter the outing with a record of 2-0. Brentwood won 70-36 in their recent non-league outing against Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA)
