The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Southern Rams (Oakland, MD) and the visiting Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV), observed Southern's basketball team overcome Hampshire by a margin of 68-48.

The Rams (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Grafton (Grafton, WV). The Bearcats come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

The Trojans now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moorefield for a non-league match on Thursday, December 11. Hampshire will meet a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 57-33 non-league loss to Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 0-1.
