The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the McLaurin Tigers (Florence, MS) and the visiting Hazlehurst Indians (Hazlehurst, MS), witnessed McLaurin's basketball squad rout Hazlehurst by a count of 65-44.

With the victory, McLaurin improves its record to 6-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Wesson (Wesson, MS) to encounter the Cobras in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 11. The Cobras come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Wesson lost 57-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Mize (Mize, MS)

Next up, the Indians meet the Lawrence County Cougars (Monticello, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 12. Hazlehurst will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 68-37 non-league win over Northeast Jones (Laurel, MS).
