The Panthers now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Leake County for a non-league game on Friday, December 12. Morton will confront a Gators team coming off a 66-42 non-league win over Scott Central (Forest, MS). The Gators record now stands at 6-1.
The Pirates (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Brandon (Brandon, MS). The Bulldogs come into the 7A Region 3 outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Brandon was defeated by Petal (Petal, MS), 57-54, in a league outing.
