California High School Basketball - Gridley can't hold off Bear River
December 9, 2025: Gridley, CA 95948 Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball team tip the host Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA), 42-39 in a non-league contest.
The Bruins (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Union Mine (El Dorado, CA). The Diamondbacks go into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Union Mine nipped Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA), 53-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Wheatland Pirates (Wheatland, CA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 6. Gridley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
