North Carolina High School Basketball - Gaston Christian trounced by Concord Academy

Concord Academy Eagles (Concord, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC), 71-38 in a league match.

With the victory, Concord Academy advances its record to 7-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC) to meet the Eagles in a NCISAA Metrolina match on Friday, December 12. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 5-7. SouthLake Christian Academy won 45-13 in their recent league contest against Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC)

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a NCISAA Metrolina contest, on Friday, December 12. Gaston Christian will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 49-22 league win over Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC).
