The Dexter Demons (Dexter, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Mescalero Apache Chiefs (Mescalero, NM), 44-23 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Demons now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Logan for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 11. Dexter will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 33-29 non-league win over Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-0.

The Chiefs (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM). The Warriors come into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Gateway Christian bounced Hagerman (Hagerman, NM), 35-22, in a non-league test.
